Behaviour is defined by Pierce & Cheney (2017) as "everything an organism does, including overt actions like thinking, in response to a particular situation of stimulus". In other words, behaviour of human beings is determined by its consequences.
With this is mind, articles here in the Human Behaviour archive, will be focused on the behavioural aspects of performance and offer a means to better understand the reasons we behave the way we do. As such, we may discover solutions to unhelpful outcomes in work and sport.
